Self Priming Pump Structure

It is composed of pump shell, liquid storage chamber, volute chamber, impeller, shaft seal, check valve, backflow valve and backflow hole.
Fill the reservoir with water before starting the pump for the first time.
After the pump is started, the pump inlet liquid is thrown into the volute chamber into the liquid storage chamber.

Thus forming a vacuum, under the action of pressure difference. Water in the liquid storage chamber through the open backflow valve from the backflow hole into the impeller population.
Mix well with gas from the population line.
Then the impeller is thrown out into the storage room.
The gas-liquid mixture separates under the action of density difference, and the gas rises to the top of the liquid storage chamber and drains into the outlet pipe.

The liquid sinks below the reservoir and passes through the return hole to the impeller inlet.
After the normal operation of the pump, the backflow hole will close automatically under the action of pressure difference.

Motor and coupling:

1: Pump and motor drive, should pay attention to the pump shaft and motor output coaxiality;
The accuracy of pump installation has a great influence on the running stability and service life of the pump.

2: The pump spider coupling must be a good solid nut, and lock the nut, beware of loose nut, otherwise easy to cause impeller channeling, causing mechanical failure.

Pump pipeline:

1:Attention shall be paid to the installation of suction pipeline:

• A. The installation height of suction inlet shall not exceed 5 meters. When conditions permit. The installation height of suction inlet shall be as far as possible lower than the lowest water storage level of the pool. Length of the suction pipe shall be shortened as far as possible with fewer elbows. Which is conducive to shortening the time of self-suction and improving the self-suction function.
• B. valves and flanges in the suction pipe shall be strictly protected against air leakage or leakage of liquid. That is, no air leakage is allowed in the suction pipe.
• C. Solids and other sundries shall be prevented from being inhaled into the pump body. Filters shall be set on the suction pipe for this purpose.
• D. The suction line and the discharge line shall have their own supports, and the pump body itself is not allowed to bear the load of the line.

2:When the pump is installed, the static grounding resistance of the pump and pipeline shall meet the specified requirements.

3:Strictly check whether there are stones, iron sand and other sundries in the pump shell and pipeline during installation.

Pump operation

1: Correct the installation clearance and coaxiality of the pump coupling and electric motor coupling. Allowable deviation of the non-coaxiality is 0.1mm.
The height difference between the pump shaft and the motor shaft can be adjusted by copper or iron backing.

2:After the actual operation of the unit for 3-4 hours, make the final inspection. If there is no adverse phenomenon, the main installation is complete.

3:The bearing body of the pump is equipped with cooling water connector with cooling chamber device for the use of rubber or plastic pipes with 12 inner holes, and the thread size is m12x1.75.

4:In the self priming pumps outlet pipeline such as equipped with a one-way valve and in the process of self-absorption can not make the pump smoothly out of gas, should be added in the outlet of the pump exhaust pipe and valve.
